RESOLVED that the public and press be excluded from the remaining proceedings of the meeting in accordance with Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended, on the grounds that exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act, is likely to be disclosed.

There were no declarations of interest made at the meeting.

RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 10^th September 2020 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

The Committee received a report informing Members of the arrangements for the short-listing for the post of Director of Public Health, and to agree the process to be undertaken for final assessment and interviews, together with details of the individual applicants.

It was reported that two candidates had been attracted through the recent advertising campaign, both of which were considered in the short-listing process.

RESOLVED that one candidate be short-listed for final assessment and interview on 29^th April 2024 for the post of Director of Public Health.
