To block book 8 additional care homes beds in Gattison House on a temporary basis, until 31st May 2020, to support the hospital discharge process through the Covid-19 response and will be
reviewed on an ongoing basis.

One alternative is to continue to purchase services for these individual residents on a spot purchase basis, however, as the residents are only requiring short term stays it is unlikely other
homes would support this due to the level of input required to produce care plans etc. when the resident would be returning to their usual residence as soon as possible.
