The post holder will work alongside the support staff from North Ridge School and project lead from Doncaster Communication College in supporting up to twelve individuals from the transitions group as part of the project search pilot the Next Distribution Centre (Dearne Valley). The overall objectives of the project is to continue to develop work skills and work ethics within a realistic work environment (the Next Distribution Centre) to assist each year group of candidates to be better prepared for employment by the end of each academic year.

Doncaster pay a higher fee for MHA's than other Local Authorities and given the review of process and reduction in recent allocations it is an opportunity to review the fees paid and establish if some savings could be achieved.

The subject property is a former office building located on St James Street, Balby Bridge, Doncaster. The building is comprised in the main single storey accommodation but extends over the floors in part, and has a flat roof. The general condition of the building is very poor and recently it has been considered as posing a health and safety risk to occupiers.
